Course Aims

To train operators in the safe operation of Rail Mounted Disc Cutter including:

health and safety regulations
pre-start inspections
procedure for dealing with defective equipment
refuelling and recharging
operating machines
post-operational checks

Who Is The Course Suitable For?

This course is for any person who is required to use cutting and grinding equipment in the course of undertaking work tasks.

This course covers the operation of the cutting and grinding equipment. Candidates would require to already have in place an Abrasive Wheels competence prior to undertaking this course.

Course Objectives
